Spring Break (Wooo-Hooo!)

Pictures from my spring break trip to Naples, Florida:

Alisha, Matt and Dana posing "thumbs up" at Stonewall Jackson Shrine in Virginia
Alisha, Matt and I with Pedro at South of the Border, once again with thumbs up.

Dana writing in our trip journal at the beginning of the trip... And so it begins.

Alligators at Wonder Gardens. Alligators are very very scary and should be avoided outside of cages or on the same side of cage as you. We decided alligators are dinosaurs because they are small versions of what we imagine dinosaurs to be like.

We also went to the beach and to the African Oyotungi Village (As seen on TV), but I have no pictures from those adventures.

Or come visit me. We can have dinner at Shun Lee Palace, and you can find out something else about alligators...they're delicious.

(Okay, not really. More like a truck tire with Hunan sauce.)

Speaking of truck tires, wait until you see what Steve Joslyn made out of a tire, among other things, for Dad for his birthday!

I love your pictures, Mac -- it looks like a perfectly wonderful trip, and I love that you guys stopped at such touristy places! Thumbs up to all of them?

Mom's happy the crew stopped at South of the Border because we got suckered to do the same many years ago. The signs start appearing 100 miles from the place. You are totally brainwashed by the time you get there, and could not possibly fail to stop. Very successful marketing.

We were actually told to stop there by our friend Katie. The signs actually started 200 miles away and were very amusing to read because they often conflicted with each other in miles and they were all advertising different aspects of South of the Border.

As to us being called tourists, we actually enbraced our tourist nature and took lame pictures everywhere (hence the thumbs up) and just generally looked out of place.
